Many people have expressed an interest in how I created the Meisch Temple Massager. If you are interested
in this, here is the story, in brief:
In my last year of college some friends and I were returning from a concert.
Between the highway glare and the wear and tear of a long day, I was tense, irritable and had a headache.
I realized that my sun glasses were sitting on top of my head so I pulled them down and began
using put the tips to massage my temples (using the bridge of the sunglasses
to create a circular motion on my temples). The effect was immediate. There was a calming sensation in my jaw line and a warm feeling
in the temple area, my head felt better and my focus returned. The Meisch Temple massager
was born... almost.
As life would have it, I needed to finish college while also serving in the U.S. Army Reserves as
a combat engineer. There was also that little matter of earning a living.
When time permitted, I started trying to create my temple massager at home.
All I wanted was my own temple massager... two, actually... one for the car and one
for in the house. After burning plastic in my oven; mangling clothes hangers; playing with dangerous
chemicals and breaking wooden model after wooden model, I decided I needed
someone professional to help make a real mold and select the proper materials.
However, it sure didn't make much sense to go to all this trouble and expense just to make
a few temple massagers for myself... which is where you come in... it's strange but true that
when you want to do something good for yourself it often becomes necessary to share.
